• Account information (email, name from Google OAuth)
• Moments you create (text, photos, voice notes, videos)
• Device timezone for scheduling synthesis
• Push notification tokens (to send acknowledgments)
• Usage analytics (features used, session duration)

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• Generate personalized AI acknowledgments and synthesis
• Deliver push notifications for new content
• Improve the App and user experience
• Provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage and Security

Your moments and personal data are stored securely in encrypted databases. We use industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption at rest (data stored in encrypted databases)
• Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS for all data transfers)
• Secure AWS infrastructure with access controls
• Regular security audits and monitoring
• Strong authentication and authorization

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with:

• AI service providers (Anthropic Claude, AWS Bedrock) for generating reflections
• Cloud infrastructure providers (AWS) for hosting
• Analytics providers (anonymized data only)
• Law enforcement if legally required

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You have the right to:

• Access your data - view all moments and account info
• Export your data - download all your moments
• Delete your data - permanently remove your account
• Opt out of analytics - disable usage tracking
• Withdraw consent - delete account at any time

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we aim to delete your data within the following timeframes, subject to technical limitations and backup retention schedules:

• All moments: We aim to permanently delete within 30 days
• Account information: Removed from active systems within 30 days
• Backups: We aim to purge within 90 days of deletion request

Note: Some residual data may persist in backups or logs for operational and compliance purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

threadC is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and stored in the United States. By using threadC, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. You will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
